Hard anodising additive 250ml

Short description: Liquid additive for generation of hard anodised coatings under normal bath conditions
Dosing: 20ml per litre of anodising bath

„Hard anodising“ means the generation of (mostly) technical used protective anodising layers of high thicknesses (50-200µm) - we have build up layers up to 250µm (= 1/4mm) in our laboratory. These layers are extremely durable and are used for rotors, cylinder liners, tools etc. For generation of these layers you normally need special bath paramters: deep bath temperatures, low concentrations of acid, high voltage power supplies lead to high technical costs.
Our hard anodising additive reduces these costs dramatically:

  • Usage of normal sulfuric acid possible
  • Highly reduced resolution of the anodised layer during anodising
  • Equal results using 10°C higher bath temperatures (or: you get the same layer thickness when using a +20°C bath with this additive than an active cooled +10°C bath). This leads to much less efford for cooling!
  • Better uniformity of layer thickness in the whole bath
  • Less influence of current and temperature fluctuations
  • Even normal voltages (up to 22V) result in high layer thicknesses - in many cases buying of a high volatage power supply is not needed
  • Polishing is not needed anymore
  • Productive - we recommend 20ml for one litre of sulfuric acid
